Yes, through a mutual connection on the Premium plan. You request mutual access, and once the other person accepts, either of you can add reminders to the other's schedule.

Does the person I invite need their own subscription?

No. Your subscription sponsors your connection, so they can receive the reminders you set without a paid plan of their own. Every shared reminder shows who added it, and either person can remove the connection at any time.
